Modular Chemical Recycling Facility in Istanbul
Introduction: In Istanbul, we completed a chemical recycling facility designed as a modular industrial complex. The focal point was a distillation process requiring the highest standards in pipeline construction and plant planning.
Challenges: Thousands of pipelines had to be laid in a confined space, while keeping production and assembly times as short as possible. Additional complexity arose from the need for different grades of stainless steel (primarily 304L/316L) to ensure chemical resistance.
Solution: We relied on prefabricated plant components assembled in Cairo before shipment to Istanbul. Thanks to meticulous planning, all piping systems were completed and commissioned within just two months.
Result: By using this modular approach, on-site assembly time was drastically reduced. The client now operates a reliable, sustainable recycling plant that meets modern industrial construction standards and is cost-effective to run.
