About Waw Designs
Wael Sedrak is a graduate of the Faculty of Applied Arts with a specialization in Interior Architecture & Furniture.
He established Waw Designs’ first showroom in Maadi in 2011.
Sedrak started his career while he was still studying and gained extensive experience during his employment in many furniture and design companies for 15 years. He later worked on many private projects before starting his own business.
“Looking forward to the expansion that Waw Designs will see by opening the third branch at first and then expanding in different areas in Egypt.”
Said Sedrak is proud to support the Egyptian industry and revive craftsmanship that has been abandoned for decades.
Working with a hands-on approach, he says:
“I am in the workshop every day designing and building with my team. I see and touch everything before it goes out of the door.”
Known for his special flair with woods and copper, he always strives to find skilled workers.
Waw Designs is a company that produces authentic furniture using hardwood and brass to embellish statement pieces.
The company has been established for 12 years and is looking for more innovation and creative designs.
The designs are all drawn by the founder and inspired by different cultures such as Moroccan, Indian, Islamic, Egyptian Nubian, and Oriental in general.
The company has high quality control standards, crafting every piece carefully and paying close attention to the details of the designs with the best quality.
The company has its own factory that produces all the products.
In addition, the company has 2 branches: one in Downtown Katameya and the other in Americana Plaza, Sheikh Zayed.
